The sale of sea buckthorn by-products are growing rapidly world-wide. The utilization of these by-products has been recognized by many consumers; demand is increasing year on year. The food and drugs manufactured from sea buckthorn fruit are sold in considerable numbers. However, it is difficult to harvest sea buckthorn fruit; consequently there is a lack of supply. The objective of this study is to clarify the distribution and supply situation of sea buckthorn in Northeast China, and to identify a method of increasing supply and remedy the existing problem.},
