A total of 799 individuals composed of 16 families and 24 species were collected using a coarse-mesh seine (4×4mm square mesh, 26m wide and 2m deep with a 3m long purse-bag at its center) during the research period from May to October 2000. The numerically dominant species were Philocheras parvirostris (Crangonidae), Matuta lunaris (Calappidae) and Parapenaeopsis cornuta (Penaeidae). P. parvirostris occurred only at low tide and the body size was significantly greater in May than in October. M. lunaris occurred irrespective of time of day or tide level. However, the range of the body size of individuals was wider at low tide than at high tide. P. cornuta occurred only at low tide in the night in October and all individuals were juveniles with carapace lengths less than 20mm. This suggests that P. cornuta use the nearshore zone of Fukiagehama Beach as a nursery ground.}, pages = {7--14}, title = {九州南部の吹上浜近岸帯における海産無脊椎動物の出現パターン}, volume = {54}, year = {} }
