| 内容記述 | On Jan. 24, 1961 the whirl wind，generated on the sea，landed on the seashore of Shioya，Chirancho，South-Kyushu and passed through the hamlet of Shioya. Along the passage of the whirl wind，in the area of about 30 meters in width and 500 meters in length，more than 20 wooden houses suffered appreciable damage. Some of these houses were moved or deformed their framings by strong lateral wind forces，and the most suffered damage to roofing tiles. Especially damage to roofing tiles near ridges and gables was remarkable． |
