A description of the compact helium-liquefier system which was installed in the Faculty of Science, Kagoshima University last fall (October 2010) is given. The Helium liquefier system consists of three parts; a helium gas recovery system, a helium gas purification system, and a helium liquefier. The system allows us to recycle evaporated helium gas used in experiments and to store the gas in a storage tank. The helium liquefier is equipped with two GM refrigerators and can produce 21 liters/day of liquid helium. |
