韓国の中央大学校赤十字看護大学における第３回目の学生交流プログラムが企画され、学生６名が鹿児島大学学生海外支援事業の助成を受けて参加した。今年度より、スキルアップの目的で若手教員が引率を担当することとなり、助教２名が引率した。海外研修における教員の役割は、先方の大学とのプログラムの交渉に始まり、研修中の学生支援、研修後の報告会の開催まで多岐にわたっている。教員が、それらの役割を遂行する子とは、語学力を磨き、国際的な視座から柔軟に看護をとらえるきっかけとなり、学生海外研修は、教員にとってもグローバル化への対応能力を研鑽する機会として非常に意義のあるものだと考える。がk末井海外研修を発展的に継続して行くためには、資金面の確保、海外研修のガイドラインや国際交流のための組織体制の構築など、看護学専攻としての組織的な取り組みが課題となる。 |

Six students participated in the 3' Student Exchange Program at Red Cross College of Nursing, Chung-Ang University (CAU), Korea, with a grant from the Kagoshima University Student Overseas Training Support Project. To improve leadership and training skills, two research associates of the division of nursing accompanied the students' group to Korea. The roles of faculty members in the overseas training program are diverse, such as consulting with CAU about the exchange program, supporting students during the program, and conducting briefing sessions after the student exchange program. By taking on these roles, faculty members have the opportunity to improve their language skills and have a flexible understanding of nursing from an international perspective. Thus, student overseas training program is truly significant not only for students but also for faculty members as a way of improving the ability to respond to globalization. Future directions for the constructive continuation of student overseas training are as follows: securing funding, establishing a guideline for student overseas training, and creating an organizational structure for management of international exchange based on the organizational effort of the division of nursing at Kagoshima University. |
