| 内容記述 | 本研究では、ケンブリッジ大学図書館に所蔵されているW. G. アストン旧蔵の和書のうち、国学著作（霊能真柱、古史徴、たまたすき、入学問答、すずのたまぐし、俗神道大意、くずばな、鬼神新論、古今妖魅考、末賀能比連、祝詞考、祝詞正訓、大祓詞後釈、出雲国造神寿後釈、玉くしけ別本）に記されたアストンおよびサトウの鉛筆書き入れを資料として収集し、分析を加えた。その結果、アストンもサトウも本居宣長、賀茂真淵、平田篤胤らの国学著作の内容を精力的に理解・研究したこと、とりわけ篤胤の国学研究を高く評価していたことが明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In this study I researched at Cambridge University Library notes written by Aston and Satow on the Kokugaku(or the study of ancient Japanese thought and culture) books which belong to Aston Collection; Reinomahashira, Koshityo, Tamatasuki, Nyugakumondo, Suzunotamagushi, Zokushintotaii, Kuzubana, Kishinshinron, Kokinyomiko, Maganohire, Noritoko, Noritoseikun, Oharaekotobakoshaku, Izumonokuninomiyatukokanyogotokoshaku, Tamakushigebeppon. As the result, I found the fact tha they energetically studied the books by Motoori Norinaga, Kamono mabuchi and Hirata Atsutane. Especially they highly appreciated Atsutane. | |||||
