The lens is colored acoording to age. Then, for subjects of various ages, the measurement of the visual acuity is carried out using the same degree of brightness. For this adjustment, a flicker method using the subject\u0027s eye itself, was adopted. Subsequently, the visual acuity measurement was performed. As a result, blue light was better for vision than red light for the presbyopic eye and for the young normal eye, after adding minus refractive power. For the myopic eye, red light was better for visual acuity than blue light. These phenomena was caused by the color abberation in the subject\u0027s eyeball.
