内容記述 | This study deals with the shape of groundrope under the towing condition of bottom trawl net. The shape of groundrope depends on an equilibrium of three forces: fluid-dynamic resistance of netting, fluid-dynamic resistance of the groundrope and sliding frictional force against the sea bottom. It was assumed that the groundrope consisted of a connection of segments. The vertical, horizontal and tangential components were considered to be in equilibrium acting on the segment. The horizontal component acting on each segment of the groundrope was constant at any part. The spread of wing's end was fixed beforehand. The vertical component, acting on each segment of the groundrope, was calculated based on the relative ratio of netting area which was connected to each part of groundrope of the whole netting area. The shape of groundrope was analyzed based on the distribution of vertical components of segment. The model experiments were carried out using the method of mechanical simulation; and the model net was suspended on the vertical meshed board. The fluid-dynamical resistance of the net was simulated by equivalent weight secured at the end of lacing lines. The frictional forces was simulated by attaching equivalent to of the groundrope of the model net in water. And the shape of netting was simulated by rubber ballons fixed inside the trawl net. The shape of groundrope was expressed by the two dimensional coordinates using the grid of board with 2 cm scale. A close agreement was obtained between the analytical and mechanical simulated values in the shape of groundrope. | |||||
