| 内容記述 | 口腔癌および非癌患者の組織からDNAを抽出し、NQO1、CYP1A1およびGSTP1遺伝子の多型検索および統計学的解析を行った。NQO1において、野生型をもつヒトに比べホモ変異型を有するヒトは、口腔癌に対して高感受性であることが強く示唆された。またCYP1A1の野生型頻度は口癌患者と比べ非癌患者のほうが多い傾向にあり、対照的にホモ変異型の頻度は非癌患者に比べ癌患者のほうが多い傾向を示した。GSTP1の多型頻度については、癌患者と非癌患者との間で統計学的有意差は認められなかった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | We have recently reported that a genetic polymorphism of the type II detoxifying enzyme NQO1 may be a major determinant of the susceptibility of rats to oral squamous-cell carcinoma (OSCC) induced by 4-nitroquinoline 1-oxide (4NQO). To test whether this is also the case in human OSCC, polymorphisms of NQO1, CYP1A1 and GSTP1 were examined in a population-based case-control study. In NQO1 and CYP1A1, the homozygous-variant type was much less common among the subjects in the control group than it was among the OSCC cases. Alternatively, GSTP1 have not yet been completely characterised. | |||||
