| 内容記述 | 近代日本における地方工業化に対して、地方資産家が果たした役割はきわめて大きいものがあった。その原動力を、山口県宇部地域の工業化過程を対象に実証分析を行った。その結果、自らが共同投資をしないと地域社会が自らを受け入れてくれないという「連帯的強制」と、地域社会の持続的発展に寄与したいという「貢献意欲」が並列的に存在したことを二次資料からではあるが推認した。地方企業への投資動機は経済的動機と社会的動機に明確に区分されるものではなく、「地域社会の発展」という社会的動機により投資をした企業が利益を上げる組織に変化していく中で、最終的に社会的動機が経済的動機をみこしたものになっていくことを示した。 | |||||
