"ドラゴンフルーツに含まれる色素のベタレインは植物の色の発現に関わる重要な色素の一つであり,大きく別けて赤紫色のベタシアニンと黄色のベタキサンチンに分けられる。これまで,ドラゴンフルーツの果皮から得られる抽出液を用いて繊維類の染色の検討を行ってきたが,この二種類の色素は発現する色の違いだけでなく,染色温度や染色時間による影響の受け方も大きく違う事が分かってきた。一方,染色した繊維は一定時間経過後に退色することが分かり,染色布の退色の抑制が課題であった。\n本研究では,より実用的な染色法の開発を目的として,これまで用いてきた添加剤の効果について再検討を行なった。その結果,クエン酸を添加剤に用いる事で退色の抑制に効果が見られた。また,染色時間や染色温度の違いにも大きな影響を受けておらず,安定した染色法の開発に向けて興味深い知見が得られた。",
