鹿児島大学病院看護部と鹿児島大学医学部保健学科と連携し，「研究お助けサロン」という研究プロセスの初段階に特化した研究支援を開始した。研究お助けサロンは研究テーマを明確にし，研究の進め方などに悩む看護職員にとって大学教員に気軽に助言を得られる場となっており，利用ニーズが高く，殆どの相談者は次の段階に進むことができていた。しかし，研究活動には様々な困難さがあり，研究活動を中止する相談者もいることから，次の段階である研究支援者が研究計画書作成，または研究発表まで関わる「看護研究支援システム」の利用につなげ，支援を継続することが必要である。また，研究活動が短期間であることが考えられるため，時間的余裕をもって質の高い研究ができるような取り組みの必要性が示唆された。そして，看護管理者がお助けサロンに参加することは，研究の知識や指導の実際を学ぶことや助言を踏まえた継続支援に活かされることが期待できる。 |

The “Kenkyu Otasuke Salon” (Research Aid Salon) specializes in providing support in the initial stage of a research process, and was initiated as a collaborative effort between the Nursing Department of Kagoshima University Hospital and the Kagoshima university Faculty of Medicine school of Health Sciences. The Kenkyu Otasuke Salon has allowed nursing staff facing difficulties identifying the topics of their research to clarify and advance with their research by providing accessible guidance from university instructors. Thus, there is high demand for the salon, which has allowed most users to advance to the next step. However, research activities are characterized by various types of difficulties. Given that a certain number of nurses discontinued their research activities, it is essential for continuous support to be provided to enable users to advance to the next step, that is, the Nursing Research Support System, which provides coaching on writing research proposals and publications. Furthermore, because it is possible that the research activity was short-termed, there is a necessity for attempts to enable nurses to conduct research of high-quality with more time to spare. Participation in the Otasuke Salon by nursing administrators avails to them knowledge about research and allows them to observe how guidance on research is provided, which is expected to be conducive for continued support, including advising on research projects. |
