[{"subitem_description": "イシマキガイClithon retropictus は，本州中部以南の淡水，汽水に生息する卵生の腹足類である．イシマキガイは，藻食性の傾向が強く，また，岩に吸着する能力が高いため，藻類の多い河川の瀬の岩場に多く見られる．鹿児島市内を流れる伍位野川の中流部淡水域で調査した．本研究では，イシマキガイの生活史を明らかにするとともに，春と秋に2 度の標識再捕を行い，季節やサイズにおける移動距離の関係を明らかにすることを目的とした．イシマキガイの生活史の調査は，Stations2–4 の調査区，3 地点において，2005 年2 月から2006 年1 月までの12 ヶ月間の間に，毎月1 回，それぞれのStation で，100 個体以上をランダムに集め，ノギスを用いて，計測した．イシマキガイの標識再捕の調査は，Station 4 において，2005 年5 月と9 月に7 mm 以下のイシマキガイ，500 個体をそれぞれ，マーキングし，直線移動距離を測定し，見つかった個体のサイズをノギスで，計測した．イシマキガイは，どのStation でも，ほとんど瀬や淵の岩表で多く，確認され，イシマキガイのサイズ頻度分布は，Station によって，大きな違いが見られた．下流域であるSt. 4 では，10 月以降，10 mm 以下の新規幼貝の加入が確認された．St. 3 においては，12 月から，小型個体の加入が始まった．5–11 月までは，個体成長が確認された．また，上流であるSt. 2 では，殻幅サイズの季節的変動は，見られなかった．イシマキガイの標識再捕の調査では，5 月と9
