| 内容記述 | 2019年度大学の世界展開力強化事業として，米国Berea College に学生６名が引率教員２名とともに派遣された。事業のテーマは，異文化理解，グローバルリーダーシップ，ルーラルナーシングである。米国での学生交流と現地視察を通して，学生は米国のへき地におけるルーラルナーシングについて学び，グローバルな視点でローカルな活動を行うことの重要性について考察することができた。今後の課題として学生が国際的な交流を続け，看護職になってからも自分のフィールドでグローバルな視点を活用していくこと，および教員のグローバルな教育への対応能力の向上が挙げられた。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The project initiated by Kagoshima University in 2019, titled “Inter-University Exchange Project” included six students and two faculty members who visited Berea College in the United States of America. The theme of the project was Cross-Cultural Understanding, Global Leadership, and Rural Nursing. Through this exchange, that included an on-site inspection, the six students learned about rural nursing care in a remote area of the United States and discussed the importance of local activities from a global perspective. Future challenges are discussed as follows; students continuing international exchange and activities to incorporate a global perspective when becoming a nursing professional, and faculty members improving their abilities to teach nursing from a global education perspective. | |||||||||||||||||
