| 内容記述 | 有機農業とは化学的に合成された肥料や農薬を使わず，遺伝子組換え技術も利用しない農業である。それは農業の自然循環機能を増進し，農業生産に由来する環境への負荷を低減するものとされている。また，有機農業が生物多様性保全や地球温暖化防止に効果を示すという指摘もある。そして，その取り組み拡大は国連の持続可能な開発目標（SDGs）の達成にも貢献すると評価されている。近年，有機農業によって生産された農産物やその加工食品の国内市場が拡大し輸出量も増加している。そのような有機食品をめぐる国内外の市場の変化を背景として，有機農 業の推進にかかる政府の対応に近年大きな変化が見られる。「有機農業の推進に関する基本的な 方 針」の見直しがその一つである。また，農林水産業の様々な課題を取り上げた「みどりの食料システム戦略」の策定もそうである。この新戦略では 2050年までに化学肥料や農薬の使用量削減，有機農業の面積拡大などについて大胆な方向性を示し，その具体的な数値目標を掲げている。有機農業先進県である鹿児島県においてもそうした行政の対応が確実に進んでいる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Organic farming does not use chemically synthesized fertilizers or pesticides, nor does it use genetically modified technology. It is believed to enhance the natural cyclical function of agriculture, reducing the environmental impact on agricultural production. There are also some indications suggesting that organic farming is effective in both preserving biodiversity and preventing global warming. The expansion of organic farming is also recognized as a great contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) suggested by the United Nations. In recent years, the domestic market for agricultural products and processed foods produced by organic farming has been expanding; and the volume of the exports has also been increasing. Under the background of the changes in both domestic and overseas markets for organic foods, there have been some changes in the government's response to the promotion of organic agriculture in recent years. One of such changes is the revision of the Basic Direction for the Promotion of Organic Agriculture. And another example is the formulation of the Strategy for Sustainable Food Systems, addressing various issues in the industries of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. This new strategy sets out a bold direction for reducing the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, expanding the area of organic farming by 2050, and also setting some specific numerical targets for these efforts. In Kagoshima Prefecture, which is one of the leading prefectures of Japan in organic farming, such administrative measures are steadily being taken now. | |||||
