内容記述 | The main purpose of this study is to improve the teaching methods of home economics and disaster prevention. Specifically, this study will organize the learning contents of home economics in the light of the goals of home economics and disaster prevention education, also trying to develop the teaching materials of home economics, including the perspective of disaster prevention. The research methods are as follows: 1) selections of learning contents in developing teaching materials (research period: 2013), 2) comparisons of the home economics evaluation criteria with the goals of disaster prevention education (2014), 3) developing teaching materials (2015), and 4) verification of the effectiveness of the developed teaching materials (2016). The main characteristics of the developed teaching materials are as follows: 1) teaching materials accomplishing not only the targets of disaster prevention education, but also the evaluation criteria for residential life of junior high school technology and home economics (the field of home economics), 2) teaching materials allowing students without disaster experiences to be able to visualize the damage, 3) teaching materials allowing students to regard the disaster as their own serious problems, being able to predict actual dangers during the disaster, and 4) teaching materials leading students to take active and positive safety actions. |
