| 内容記述 | A single specimen of the thalassematid echiuran, Ikedosoma elegans (Ikeda, 1904) was collected from a sand-mud flat off the Takaono River mouth, southern Yatsushiro Sea, Kagoshima Prefecture. This finding represents the first record of I. elegans from Kyushu, as well as the southernmost record for the species in Japan. The specimen has seven pairs of gonoducts, and the anteriormost pair is situated anterior to the ventral setae, this type of individual representing the second record since Ikeda’s description in 1907. | |||||
