| 内容記述 | The distribution of vascular plants in the school garden on Okinoerabujima Island was clarified, and a list of vascular plants growing in school garden was compiled as basic data for use as educational materials. A survey of the flora in the 7 elementary school gardens on the Island revealed a total of 480 species of vascular plants. Of these, 211 species were native to Okinoerabujima Island, 100 were exotic, and 157 were cultivated. Thus, a large number of plants grew in the school gardens, characterized by native species. Rare plants such as endangered herbaceous plants were also identified. Based on the above results, there is a high possibility that the study site can be used for learning about the plants in the Island nature. | |||||
