| 内容記述 | In this study, we collected data on the contents of multiple meetings held between a junior high school teacher who were trying to create social studies classes using P4C and a researcher who were trying to support the teacher. We analyzed the teacher’s concerns, discoveries, and realistic responses, and why they were occurring, and then, discussed the transformation of the teacher’s beliefs based on the analysis results. In this case, the teacher was required to be a participant in the P4C dialogues in classes and as a result, in the back and forth process of being determined by the dialogue situation and at the same time being particular about his/her own position as a teacher, we found a teacher who was re-examining “what he/she wanted (or needed) as a social studies teacher”. It was suggested that the process of trying to make sense of P4C in one’s own way, which is considered ‘hard to make sense of’ in a school culture in which one is also part of, becomes a form of self-questioning about one's own everyday teaching. |
