| 内容記述 | A single specimen (174.6 mm standard length) of Lutjanus rivulatus (Cuvier, 1828) (Perciformes: Lutjanidae) was collected from Ibusuki, south coast of the Satsuma Peninsula, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. In Japanese waters, L. rivulatus has been recorded from the Ogasawara Islands, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Wakayama, Kochi, and Miyazaki prefectures, the Osumi Islands, Amami-oshima island, and the Okinawa Islands. Thus, the present specimen, described herein in detail, represents the first record of the species from Kagoshima mainland. | |||||||||||||
