| 内容記述 | A single specimen (37.0 mm standard length) of Choeroichthys sculptus (Günther, 1870) (Syngnathiformes, Syngnathidae) was caught from Suruga Bay (Heda Fishing Port; 34º58′32″N, 138º46′02″E), Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. In Japanese waters, the species has previously been recorded from Tosa Bay, Kagoshima Bay, Osumi Islands, and Ryukyu Islands. Thus, the present specimen represents the first and northernmost record for the species from Suruga Bay. | |||||
