| 内容記述 | Six specimens (22.6–34.5 mm standard length) of Parkraemeria saltator Suzuki and Senou, 2013 (Gobiidae) were collected from tidal flats on Amami-oshima and Tokuno-shima islands, Amami Islands, Satsunan Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. The species have previously been recorded only from the southern Ryukyu Islands from Okinawa-jima to Iriomote-jima islands. Thus, the present specimens, described herein detail, represent the first records from the Satsunan Islands, the Amami-oshima specimen being the northernmost records for the species. Morphometric analysis during this study showed that three measurements regarded as diagnoses, viz., head, pectoral-fin, and caudal-fin lengths, had wider intraspecific variation previously thought. | |||||
