| 内容記述 | In November 2022, 11 individuals (273–611 mm total length) of Japanese eel Anguilla japonica Temminck and Schlegel, 1847 were captured from the Dotonbori River, Osaka, Japan, and three of them were deposited as preserved specimens. They represent the first specimen-based records of the species from the river. Otolith analysis suggested that they were natural recruitment individuals, 2–7 years old. | |||||
