| 内容記述 | Three specimens [27.8–46.9 mm standard length (SL)] of Cosmocampus banneri (Herald and Randall, 1972) were collected from Kashiwa-jima and Okino-shima islands, Kochi Prefecture, Japan, representing the first records of the species from Kochi Prefecture. Additionally, one specimen (23.7 mm SL) of C. banneri was collected from Kanno-shima island, Satsuma Peninsula, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. Although a single specimen (KAUM–I. 124516, 33.4 mm SL) was previously recorded from Kagoshima mainland, it was re-identified here as Phoxocampus diacanthus (Schultz, 1943). Thus, the Kanno-shima island specimen represents the first record of C. banneri from Kagoshima mainland. | |||||||||||||
