| 内容記述 | A total of 57 fish species was newly recorded on the basis of collected specimens and underwater photographs from Kuchinoerabu-jima island, Osumi Islands, Kagoshima, Japan. Of the 57 species, Luciogobius elongatus Regan, 1905 and Luciogobius sp. 3 sensu Shibukawa et al. (2019) represent the southernmost records for these species. In addition, Aeoliscus strigatus (Günther, 1861), Girella mezina Jordan and Starks, 1907, Hologymnosus annulatus (Lacepède, 1801), and Naso lituratus (Forster, 1801) represent the first specimen-based records from Kuchinoerabu-jima island. These additional records bring the total number of fish species recorded from Kuchinoerabu-jima island to 763. | |||||||||||||
