| 内容記述 | Kagoshima University has contributed to community medicine in the islands of Kagoshima, and conducted field study there. The Department of International Island and Community Medicine is conducting a JICA training course, “Community-based Island Medicine” that provides opportunities to improve the quality of medical service by the development of human resources who will engage community medicine in island and remote areas through utilizing various experiences in such community health service and research that Kagoshima has conducted so far under the cooperation of the administration and the university. This 2-month course has been annually conducted since 2002, and seven doctors of the Philippines and Indonesia have participated in it. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 鹿児島大学は，行政と協力して鹿児島県離島における地域医療への貢献や研究を行ってきました。医歯学総合研究科国際島嶼医療学講座では，これらの経験を生かし，開発途上国における離島へき地医療に関わる人材育成を行う目的で，鹿児島県の提案のもと平成14年度からJICA「離島医療」コースを開始しました。これまでにフィリピンとインドネシアから７名の研修生の受け入れを行っています。このコースでは沿岸離島や外洋小離島，外洋中大離島など多彩な離島医療システムを持つ鹿児島県で行なわれている巡回診療や遠隔医療などのシステムに関する研修に加え，離島において特に必要とされる 全人的医療に根ざした地域包括医療を体験習得します。また，与論や奄美大島において行われているタラソテラピーを活用した住民の健康増進活動の事例も体験し，離島地域の特性を生かした健康増進法や地域活性化の方策について研修しています。このコースは鹿児島が持つ特性とそれに対する取組みを国際貢献に活用しているものです。 |
