| 内容記述 | From the later middle ages to the early Edo era- the latter part of sixteen century, was constructed the castle which was the gratest one in Satsuma-Han. Its city planning was regular on a large scale. In other areas were lots of Buke's (Samurai's) settlement all over Satsuma-Han. The settlement was called Fumoto which consists of Buke's houses, the public office and open space in its front. Fumoto's planning was characterized by a great variety of the main route and many streets. The main route lies through the center of the settlement, combines other settlements and was fraquently used by travellers and merchants. The great Fumoto's numer was 113 areas in the Edo era. Buke's houses were examined in four Fumotos-Izumi Fumoto, Chiran Fumoto, Iriki Fumoto and Shibushi Fumoto, and we restored exactly 116 houses. On the result, Buke's houses of Chiran Fumoto have great resemblance to Iriki Fumoto's in the planning, the scale and the relation of the main route and streets. The drawing room was open on the two sides in oder to catch the traveller's speech in Izumi Fumoto and Shibushi Fumoto which are nearest to the area of the enemy. | |||||||||||||||||
