| 内容記述 | This paper discusses the transition of social position and other factors on Mongolian marriage rituals. To investigate the transition from the 1920s to the 1990s, we refer to Hurirand and Aoki's research on marriage rituals in the 1920s and betrothal gifts from men to women - an important factor of the marriage ritual in the 1940s. We discuss and analyse rituals from the 1950s to the 1990s based on a hearing survey conducted mostly in Inner Mongolia. The results show that there is no significant difference in marriage rituals between the 1920s and the 1950s. However, the popular betrothal gifts from men to women shifted from livestock between the 1920s to the 1940s to money or cloth after the 1950s, showing how the life of Mongolian people had changed from purely nomadic to a mixture of nomadic and farming. By investigating four aspects of marriage rituals between the 1950s and the 1990s, we found out that wedding receptions play an important role in society at all times since a large amount of money is spent on them. Mutual cooperation between villages can also be seen at the receptions. Studying them from four different aspects, we can see the changes had been brought about by the economic improvement of farmers lives caused by land policy. The change in the role of the parents in the marriages is also a very important factor. The parents sense of values has gradually been freed from old and traditional values not only because of economic improvement but also by improvements in lifestyle and the effect of the media. |

| 内容記述 | 本稿の目的は，モンゴル民族の婚姻儀礼の社会における位置づけ及びその各要素の変化の要因を検討することにある。1920年代から1990年代までのモンゴル民族の婚姻儀礼の変化を検討するために，1950年以前の婚姻儀礼については，フリーランドの1920年代の婚姻儀礼に関する研究及び青木富太郎の1940年代の婚姻儀礼の重要な要素となる結納品に関する研究を参考にする。そして1950年代から1990年代までの婚姻儀礼に関しては，内モンゴル自治区通遼市ホルチン左翼中旗を中心に実施した調査資料により記述・分析する。その結果，1920年代から1950年代までの婚姻儀礼については，その基本的な流れに変化が見られないが，婚姻儀礼の中で，男性側から女性側にあげる結納品についてみると，1920年代や1940年代の方が明らかに家畜の種類が多いことがわかる。反対に，1950年代以降は現金や洋服の布が圧倒的で，家畜は少ない。半農半牧地域のモンゴル民族においては家畜の数が少ないので，結納品が現金や物になったが，それは遊牧生活様式から半農半牧生活様式に変化した結果ではないかと思われる。 また1950年代から1990年代までの婚姻儀礼の連続性を４つの側面で考察した結果，どの年代でも結婚披露宴に相当なお金をかけて実施しており，社会的に重要な位置を占めている事が明らかである。そしてそこに，村全体の互助関係を読みとることもできる。さらに，婚姻儀礼の変化を４つの側面で考察した結果，1980年代の土地政策により，農民たちが経済的に豊かになったことと大きく関係していることが分かる。また，婚姻に対する親の関わり方の変化の説明としては，経済的な変化だけでなく，メディアの影響や生活レベルの向上により，古い価値観や伝統的な価値観から次第に自由になったことも重要な要因としてあげられる。 | |||||
