| 内容記述 | 口永良部島における人口移動、及び離島者の動向について実態を把握、整理し、考察を行った結果、以下のことが分かった。 １） 来島時期は、明治期以前、明治期、戦後の開拓期、近年のＩターン期の４期に区分 できること。 ２）主に１９６０年代に、大規模な人口流出により人口が激減したこと。 ３）島民は「教育振興推進協議会」を作って、人口減少の歯止めに努めていること。 ４）離島者の行先は鹿児島市と大阪市の２か所が多いこと。 ５） 出郷者の間では３つの同郷集団が作られ、それぞれ独自の活動を行ったこと。 などである。 |

| 内容記述 | This study aims to grasp the immigration and emigration movement in Kutinoerabujima and to make clear the tendency and characteristics of these phenomena. The author visited this island, gathered related materials and interviewed some islanders. Interviews were carried with the emigrants living in Kagoshima city also. The following conclusions are drawn: 1) There are four immigration periods in this island, pre-Meiji era, Meiji era, after the World War II era and the recent immigration era. 2) The biggest emigration movement happened in 1960's. 3) Islanders organized an association to discuss and realize the growth of the students and to attempt to stop the decline of the population. 4) Most emigrants live nowadays in two cities, Kagoshima-city and Ōsaka-city mainly. 5) Three social groups were organized among emigrants in Kagoshima-city and their original activities were created by each group. |
