| 内容記述 | During the trip from June 1 to June 28 in 1988, in Madagascar, 99 strains of seed sample of cultivated rice, i.e., Oryza sativa L., were collected. Their localities and habitats were reported (Table 1). Locality names are as follows; Maevatanana, Marovoay, Mahajanga, Mampikony, Port Berge, Antsohihy, Bealanana, Befandrianana, Ambatondrazaka, Brickaville, Tamatabe, Fenerive, Antsirabe and Ambositra. One hundred and two strains segregated from 99 samples were used for morphological investigations of husked grains. In average values, length, width and thickness of husked grains were 6.47mm, 2.52mm and 1.86mm, respectively. Of husked grains, correlationships between length and width, length and thickness, and width and thickness were 0.44, 0.07 and 0.77, respectively. Of husked grains, ratios of the following components, namely, "length to width", "length to thickness" and "width to thickness", were 2.61, 3.84 and 1.34 in average values, respectively. |
