| 内容記述 | We present the case of an 8７ -year-old woman with lower abdominal pain. Computed tomography revealed a left obturator hernia with incarcerated bowel within the hernial sac. We used a laparoscopic approach for correction, and found a strangulated, non-reducible obturator hernia; we then performed partial resection of the small bowel with the open technique. Transabdominal preperitoneal repair was completed using a polypropylene mesh plug following laparoscopic reduction. The patient’ s postoperative recovery was uneventful, with no complications. We successfully applied the laparoscopic technique and used a polypropylene mesh plug for the reduction and repair of an incarcerated obturator hernia in an elderly woman. |
