As a link in the chain of the computer chemical engineering defined above, a real time simulator for the chemical process system has been developed.\nIn contrast to the ordinary simulator, this\nsimulator can be expected to advance the appropriateness of the model, and contribute to the prediction of abnormal or dangerous phenomena, because of a direct connection between the computer and the process apparatus.
