Its city planning was regular on a large scale.\nIn other areas were lots of Buke\u0027s (Samurai\u0027s) settlement all over Satsuma-Han. The settlement was called Fumoto whitch consists of Buke\u0027s houses, the public office and open space in its front.\nFumoto\u0027s planning was characterized by a great variety of the main route and Streets. There were Buke\u0027s house built along the main route and some streets, and these drawing rooms located in the nearest front of the main route and some streets.\nThe great Fumoto\u0027s number was 113 areas in the Edo era. Seventeen Buke\u0027s houses were examined in five Fumotos - Kaseda Fumoto, Tarumizu Fumoto, Shimizu Fumoto, Kokubu Fumoto, Shikine Fumoto.\nOn the result, the drawing room was opened in two sides in which there were verandas and\nthe center beam of roof was supported in the length of 4.924 meters (2.5 ken).\nThese are thought the principle form of Buke\u0027s houses.
