| 内容記述 | Amorphous silica spheres with narrow size distribution were prepared by means of hydrolysis of tetraethyl silicate from the Si(OC_2H_5)_4-NR_3-H_2O-R'OH system (R=H, C_2H_5, R'=C_2H_5, C_3H_7) where ammonia or triethyl amine is the morphological catalyst for the silica particles. The geometric standard deviations of silica spheres obtained were smaller for the reaction system containing propyl alcohol as solvent than that containing ethyl alcohol as one. Particle size of silica spheres decreased with an increase in the againg temperature and with a decrease in the amount of morphological catalyst. Growth rate of the silica particles in the Si(OC_2H_5)_4-(C_2H_5)_3N-H_2O-C_3H_7OH system was very slow in comparison with that in the Si(OC_2H_5)_4-NH_3-H_2O-C_2H_5OH system. |
