| 内容記述 | Test operations of tuna long-line gear with different numbers of hooks (2~5) per a basket were perfbrmed under the uniform conditions in the Indian Ocean in 1961 by the training ship Kagoshima Maru. It may be concluded that the angling efficiency depends upon the number of bait fishes per one basket and upon the positions of the hooks on the main line for one basket, because the positions have a important influence on the feeding reaction of tuna. When four hooks are connected to each basket, the superposition of the effects of the two factors brings the best efficiency. | |||||
