| 内容記述 | 本稿では,鹿児島県与論島における洗骨に関する事例報告を行う。火葬場が完成した2003年以降,与論島では急速に火葬が普及し,その反面洗骨は急激に減少していった。そのため本稿は,与論島の洗骨に関する最後の報告になる可能性がある。このような事情から,事例の記述を残しておく必要性を強く感じている。本稿の事例は,2009年4月に観察したものである。2件の洗骨を観察したため,それぞれ2章と3章に分けて記述した。また本稿では,従来ほとんど記録されていなかった儀礼中の拝礼の言葉についても記述している。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This is a case report about the bone-washing ritual in Yoron Island which located in the middle of the South-East Islands of Japan. In Yoron Island, people treat the dead by performing the bone-washing ritual in which dead bodies are dug out and ritually washed after 3 years to 7 years of burial. Since the year 2003 when the crematory was established, the bone-washing ritual has decreased rapidly, and is facing the crisis of extinction. Thus, this paper could be the last report of the bone-washing ritual of the island. The case of this paper was observed in April 2009. I could collect two cases, and I described them in two chapters respectively. Moreover, I included the description of the ritual words of the prayer for the dead, which didn't appear in most of the previous studies. |
