| 内容記述 | The paper is a case study of a village in Amami Oshima which suffered a severe rainstorm on 20th October 2010. My focus is on describing mutual aid among the Nishinakama village people in everyday life, and how it worked at the time of disaster. I will then describe the support system of elderly people there before, during and after the disaster, and analyze the factors behind the conduct of mutual aid among them. Also, I will discuss the current situation of disaster-prevention toward elderly people in Amami and a possible way of supporting the aged in the future. |
