本研究の目的は，回復期リハビリテーション病棟における老年看護学実習において，学生がどのような学びをしているかを明らかにすることである。回復期リハビリテーション病棟で履修した学生50名の提出したレポートから，実施できた援助に関する記述を抽出し，意味の類似性によりグルーピング化を行い，カテゴリを抽出した。その結果，【対象の人となりに合わせた生活が送れるための援助】【自立性の維持・向上を目指した生活への援助】【自我発達を促進する援助】【家族の思いを理解し受け入れに向けた援助】が抽出された。本実習によって，「生活行動への援助」を通して対象の生活機能およびQOLの向上を図るという，リハビリテーションの視点を持った看護については多くの学生が実施していたが，老年期にある対象の自我発達を支え，家族を含めたチーム全体で対象を支えていくという援助は少なかった。 |

The present study involved nursing students who had undergone geriatric nursing training on a convalescent rehabilitation ward, and examined what they had learned from it. The subjects were 50 students who had undergone “Rehabilitation nursing training” on the hospital ward for convalescent rehabilitation, and they were asked to describe “care services that they were able to provide as nurses”. Descriptions related to care were extracted and grouped into the following categories according to the similarities of their meanings: [specific care provided for individual patients based on their personalities to help them live a desired life], [care to maintain and improve the independence of patients], [care to promote patients’ personal development], and [care to help patients understand and accept the feelings of their families]. Whereas many nursing students provided nursing care from the viewpoint of rehabilitation to improve the vital functions and QOL of patients by supporting their daily activities during the training session, few students made efforts to support elderly patients and the development of their egos as a team including their families. |
