| 内容記述 | ［目的］本研究は，緩和的化学療法中のがん患者の配偶者が，その治療効果を期待している期間にどのような体験をしているのかを明らかにした。 ［方法］緩和的化学療法中のがん患者の配偶者を対象に，半構造的面接を行い質的帰納的に分析した。 ［結果］配偶者は，緩和的化学療法を始めたころは【見通せない中を進む感覚】を感じていたが，薬剤効果により病状の回復や延命が図れると，【治療への期待の膨らみ】が認められた。そして，期待が大きくなるほど，死別は避けられない状況であるにも関わらず【置かれた状況との直面回避】を行っていた。さらに，治療や介護を継続していけるよう【介護環境の整え】を行い，【普段通りの生活の重視】を行っていた。 ［結論］看護者は，配偶者が治療効果にどれだけ期待を寄せているか把握し，過度な期待や混乱を招かずに，患者の病状が安定している大切な期間を悔いなく過ごせるように支援する重要性が示唆された。 |

| 内容記述 | [Objective] The present study involved the spouses of cancer patients undergoing palliative chemotherapy who had expectations regarding its therapeutic effects on the patients, and examined the experiences of the spouses during the treatment period. [Method] A semi-structured interview was conducted involving the spouses of cancer patients undergoing palliative chemotherapy, and the results were analyzed qualitatively and inductively. [Results] At the beginning, the spouses felt that [they were groping their way in the dark]. However, as the patients responded to drug treatment, [their spouses’ expectations regarding treatment increased]. Once their expectations had become higher, [the spouses avoided facing the real situation they were in] even when the patients could not be cured. Furthermore, the spouses [improved nursing care environments] so that treatment and nursing care could be continued, and [ensured that they lead a regular life]. [Conclusion] It is important for nurses who interact with the spouses of patients to understand their expectations regarding therapeutic effects, and help them accept the reality and appreciate their time with the patients, so that they will not have any regrets, during patients’ stable period. |
