| 内容記述 | Although some aspects of the Kagoshima air raids have been uncovered, there have been few studies on the overall image of the air raids or the project to record their history after the war. Therefore, to understand how memories of the air raids are recorded and preserved nationwide, we need to look at how that is being undertaken in areas that have not been dealt with yet. This paper aims to reveal how people have recorded and passed on air raid experiences in Kagoshima City using archives, observations and interviews. The findings revealed that since the early 70s, recording the memories of air raids in Kagoshima progressed in conjunction with what was happening nationally. Starting with the Minami Nihon Shimbun newspaper asking for readers to send in air raid experiences in 1972, two organisations, Kagoshima-ken no kūshū o kiroku suru kai and the Consumers Cooperative Society Kagoshima, were formed to record the history in the 80s. These private groups took the lead in recording and preserving memories of the air raids without relying on the local government. Problems surrounding the recording and preserving of air raid memories are that the members of the organisations have been working together for many years and young people find it hard to join in and that academic research into the air raids has not yet revealed what actually happened. |

| 内容記述 | 鹿児島県空襲の一部の実態が明らかにされてきたとはいえるものの，鹿児島県空襲の全体像や戦後鹿児島県の空襲記録運動などに関する研究はこれまであまりなされてこなかった。そこで，全国の空襲記録・継承運動の実態を把握するためにも，今日まで言及されてこなかった地域における空襲体験に関する記録・継承の実態を明らかにする必要があると考える。 本稿の課題は，鹿児島市の空襲に関する文献記録，筆者の参与観察やインタビューによって得られた記録などを通じて，鹿児島市では人々の空襲体験をどのように記録し，継承してきたのかを明らかにすることである。 その結果，鹿児島の空襲記録運動も70年代初期から全国の記録運動に連動して進展した。1972年の南日本新聞の空襲体験の募集を機に，80年代になり鹿児島県の空襲を記録する会や生協コープかごしまのような記録団体が生まれた。そのような民間団体が中心になり，行政に頼らず自分たちの力で空襲体験を記録・保存していた。空襲継承における問題点は各団体のメンバーは長年の付き合いを持ち，その関係性のもとで集まっており，それに直接関わりのない若者が参加しにくい環境を作り出していること，そして鹿児島空襲の実態解明の研究はほとんど進んでいないことである。 |
