Sugarcane plays an important role in increasing farmers\u0027 incomes, getting rid of poverty and promoting local industries. Especially in Cao Bang Province, where geographical conditions are severe, sugarcane is an important crop not only for economic purposes but also for regional promotion and national land conservation. However, this area has various problems such as difficulty in mechanization, lack of irrigation water, and small scale of farm management. In addition, sluggish global sugar prices and intensifying competition with imported sugar pose a threat to the local sugarcane industry. Therefore, in order to maintain the sugar cane industry in Cao Bang Province, it is necessary to reduce the cost of raw sugar cane and increase the price competitiveness of sugar.
