| 内容記述 | 本研究では，中国の湖北省宣恩県に位置する少数民族地域，彭家寨（Pengjiazhai）の観光開発に焦点を当て，中国の貧困削減計画を背景に説明した。フィールドワークに基づき，彭家寨の開発経緯や政府，観光会社，地元住民との関係を明らかにし，地元住民の対応に焦点を当て，その関連性や影響について論じた。 はじめにでは，中国の貧困削減計画と少数民族観光開発の状況に触れ，本研究の目的と研究方法を説明した。 第一章では，彭家寨の観光開発プロセスを詳細に分析した。政府主導のもとで，外部の観光会社と連携し，地元住民の参加を含む開発の過程を説明した。また，地元の民族エリートの努力と地元住民の積極的な参加が開発に寄与していることを示した。 第二章では，彭家寨の少数民族観光開発が地元住民に与える影響と彼らの対応について詳細に議論した。経済成長や雇用の増加などのポジティブな影響と同時に，地元住民は独自のビジネスを展開し，観光開発に積極的に関与していることが示された。 本研究から，政府主導の開発が遠隔の少数民族地域における観光開発の不利条件を克服する助けとなることが明らかになった。観光開発は地元住民に経済的利益をもたらした。しかしながら，外部の観光会社の関与により，地元の利益集団間に一定の対立も生じている。現在，地元の住民は地域の資源を活用して観光開発に参加する手段を模索している。 以上の内容を踏まえ，地元住民のアイデンティティ維持と強化や，ゲストとの関係を明らかにすることを今後の課題としたい。 |

| 内容記述 | This study focuses on the tourism development of Pengjiazhai, a minority region located in Xuan’en County, Hubei Province, China, and explains it in the context of China’s poverty reduction program. Based on fieldwork, the development process of Pengjiazhai, the relationships between the government, tourism companies, and local residents were identified, focusing particularly on the response of the local residents and discussing its relevance and impact. In the introduction, the situation of poverty reduction programs and minority tourism development in China is touched upon, explaining the objectives and methods of this study. Chapter One analyzes in detail the tourism development process in Pengjiazhai. Under government leadership, in collaboration with external tourism companies, the development process, including local residents’ participation, is described. It also demonstrates that the efforts of local ethnic elites and the active participation of local residents have contributed to development. Chapter Two discusses in detail the impact of minority tourism development in Pengjiazhai on local residents and their responses. While highlighting positive impacts such as economic growth and increased employment, it is also shown that local residents are developing their own businesses and actively engaging in tourism development. This research reveals that government-led development helps overcome the disadvantages of tourism development in remote minority areas, having brought economic benefits to local residents. However, the involvement of external tourism companies has also led to some conflicts among local interest groups. Currently, local residents are exploring ways to participate in tourism development by utilizing regional resources. Considering the above findings, future challenges include uncovering the maintenance and strengthening of local residents’ identities, and their relationships with guests. |
