| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，青島市で展開されたフィールドワークを通じ，都市住民の風水に対する認識や解釈，および実践方法の多様性について解明することを目的としている。 風水は古代中国に発した独特な環境や建築に関する理論であり，その「気」に基づいた理論体系は人間世界の健康・繫栄・好運などに密接に結びつくとされている。しかし，その実践手法や解釈方法が流派や地域に特有な物理・文化環境によって異なっている。特に都市において，風水の実践は常に都市の客観的な条件，例えば建築審査・都市開発などに制約され，実状に譲歩する状況が常に見られる。 都市における風水の実態を把握するため，本研究では定量分析と定性分析を実施した。定量分析では風水の普遍性を確かめ，住民の風水知識レベルや風水実践の動機と普及率などマクロな情報を測定した。さらに，定性分析では青島市における9 つの事例に対する分析を通し，風水実践の多様性や柔軟性，および実践者の風水に対する様々な認識を再現し，検討した。 その結果，都市における風水実践は「龍・穴・砂・水」や陰陽五行・十干十二支などの要素に関わる「気」に基づいた理論体系に固執しないことが明らかになった。風水実践者は期待や不安を「象」・「煞気」などの風水概念に置き換え，象徴的解釈に基づいた対抗や補足する行為によって，ストレスを解消していた。さらに，それらの風水は常に実践者の社会的背景に関わり，それぞれ異なる場面で活用されていた。 |

| 内容記述 | The aim of this study is to elucidate the perceptions, interpretations, and diversity of feng shui practices among urban residents, through fieldwork conducted in the city of Qingdao. Feng shui is a unique theory related to the environment and architecture that originated in ancient China. Its Qi based theoretical system is considered a vital factor influencing health, prosperity, and good fortune.However, its methods of practice and interpretation vary according to schools and local physical and cultural environments. Especially in urban areas, feng shui practices are always constrained by objective conditions, such as building regulations and urban development, leading to a constant need for compromise. To accurately portray the feng shui practices in urban settings, this study conducted both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The quantitative analysis aimed to confirm the prevalence of feng shui, measuring macro-level information such as the average level of feng shui knowledge among residents and the purpose for feng shui practices. Furthermore, through qualitative analysis of nine cases in Qingdao, we reproduced and examined the diversity and flexibility of feng shui practices, as well as the various perceptions of practitioners towards feng shui. As a result, it became clear that urban feng shui practices do not adhere strictly to the Qi based theoretical system. Feng shui practitioners more commonly represent their hopes and anxieties by using concepts such as Xiang and Sha Qi, alleviating stress through symbolic interpretations and complementary or counteractive actions. Moreover, these feng shui practices are always related to the social backgrounds of the practitioners and are utilized in various scenarios. |
