| 内容記述 | The teaching of international understanding today revolves around the acquisition of knowledge，international exchange and simulated experiences mostly with little social participation. Initially this study looks at the current situation of the teaching of international understanding and the problems encountered and then goes on to suggest ideas for curriculum development based on citizenship education. In Chapter 2，I examine citizenship education both in the UK and Japan. Finally I suggest and expand on four points for the teaching of international understanding in the future; i) curriculum development ii) learning process iii) definition of the qualities and abilities that need to be fostered iv) degree of social participation : In the future I wish to illustrate how children can be taught the acceptance of others. | |||||
