| 内容記述 | 本稿は,土器底部に製作時の敷物として使用された編組製品の圧痕が残る,編物底の研究である。これまでの編物底研究は編組技法に注目したものが多く,民具や出土編組製品の研究から用途・素材・編組技法の密接な関係が指摘される中,編物底研究においても今後はより素材に注目した研究が必要とされている。本稿では,編物底からより詳細な情報を得るための方法論を提示することと,素材に重点を置いて編物底の原体となる編組製品の素材の特徴をとらえることを目的とし,宮之迫遺跡と田中堀遺跡出土の編物底について,レプリカ法による復元および作製したレプリカからの素材形状について検討した。レプリカ法による復元では,シリコーン・ゴムを用いたことで,より詳細な素材形状が反映され,レプリカから読み取れる素材の断面・表面の形状を5つに, さらに細かい付加要素を4つに分類した｡これらの分類から, 2遺跡の編物底に用いられる素材形状は断面が方形を呈するものが圧倒的に多いことや, 同じ方形でもタテ材・ヨコ材で形状が異なること, 素材形状と付加要素は密接に関係し, 素材の形状や質を反映していることを指摘した｡宮之迫遺跡と田中堀遺跡との比較では, 同一の編組技法において用いられる素材の形状や, 同一の素材形状における素材の厚みに違いがみられ, 素材の細かい形状においては遺跡間で差異があることを指摘した｡最後に, 素材同定への見通しとして, 九州地方の遺跡出土編組製品との比較や, 出土編組製品以外の素材候補についての所見を述べた｡また, 素材形状, 編組技法において把握された差異が生じる背景として3つの可能性を述べた｡本稿では, レプリカ法を採用することにより編物底の様相について新たな知見を得ることができ,編物底研究において素材という視点が重要であることが再認識された｡ | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper is a study of the woven prints found on the bottom of pottery items in southern Kyushu. Previous studies have looked at weaving techniques, but in recent years, the importance has focused on the materials used. This paper analyzes pottery with woven prints excavated from two sites, Miyanosako and Tanakabori, and reconstructs the shape of the woven items using a replication method, then measures the section forms, surface forms, widths and thicknesses. As a result, five kinds of woven materials were identified, with square section forms being in the highest proportion and with differences found between vertical and horizontal materials. Furthermore, the material form is related to the weaving technique. Comparing the two sites, the material thickness and section form are different despite the same weaving technique having been used. Lastly, three possibilities for the background to the differences in material forms and weaving techniques are put forward based on this analysis. Through this, it can be seen that the replication method is useful way to recognize the form of woven items in detail and possibly identify the material. |
