| 内容記述 | The Sichuan-Chongqing area in China is a special region with two major urban areas, the cities of Chengdu and Chongqing. This paper examines the structure of the central areas of these cities. In order to evaluate the function of these areas, their centrality was measured quantitatively based on the number of employees in 10 industrial sectors that represent urban centre function taken from the Chinese 2010 national population census. An attempt is then made to simulate service areas of each city. Using centrality indicators, it was found that the urban district of Chengdu had the highest centrality followed by the urban district of Chongqing. Within the Sichuan area, the urban districts of Shuangliu County, Dujiangyan City, Pengzhou County, and Chongzhou County all within the jurisdiction of Chengdu were measured to have high centrality. Within the Chongqing area, the second most centralised following the urban district of Chongqing is Wanzhou. However, in the analysis approach of this paper, apart the top three urban centres, (Chengdu, Chongqing, and Nanchong), the presence of the hierarchical organization has not been revealed. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 中国の四川－重慶地域は二つの巨大中心地（成都市区と重慶市区）を有する特殊な地域である。成都市区と重慶市区が中心地機能を分担しながら，下位の低次中心地と統合し，中心地システムをなしている。本稿はこの特殊な地域を事例に中心地システムの構造を解明することを目的とする。本稿では，2010年の中国全国人口調査による各産業部門の従業者数から，中心性を代表する10産業部門を選定し，その従業者数に基づき，当該地域における中心地の中心性を理論的に計測し，中心地機能を定量的に評価し，中心地の勢力圏をシミュレーションして画定することを試みた。分析の結論として，中心性指標から見ると，研究対象地域においては，首位中心地成都市区と次位中心地重慶市区との二つの高次中心地において中心性が著しく高いことが確認され，それに継ぐ下位中心地として四川省の地級市ならびに重慶市が管轄する万州があることが考察された。四川省においては，成都市の管轄区域内の双流県，都江堰市，彭州県，崇州県が高い中心性を持つことが分かる。それらの都市は成都市の衛星都市として，中心地機能を果たし，成都平原経済圏の基盤を形成する。一方，重慶市においては，重慶市区に次ぐ中心性が相対的高い中心地が万州のみである。ところが，本稿の分析アプローチでは，トップ３位の中心地，成都市区，重慶市区，南充より下位の中心地間の階層性が解明できなかった。 | |||||
