(Methods) First, as a preliminary experiment, the effect of and optimal drug concentration for the above intrathecal administration were examined. As a result. excessive intrathecal administration of CDP-choline was confirmed to cause spasmogenicity,thus 5μl (20mg/kg) was used as dose of administlation. The experiment was performed under spontaneous respiration with a cannula being indwelled intracisternally. While loading with forebrain ischemia for 10 minutes,cerebral blood flow and EEG were recorded, and a group of pre-loading intrathecal administration of physiological saline (n=2) were prepared.
