| 内容記述 | We conducted surveys to evaluate actual discards at a set-net located off the Izu Peninsula of central Japan during May - December in 2005. Dead or decomposed captured fish were mostly discarded from the boat. In addition, a reasonable number of consumable fish were wasted at the fish market because of extremely low auction prices. We applied a cross-correlation function using daily catch data of the set-net. Time delays of appearance in catch were calculated for several fish species.
