| 内容記述 | The sample volcanic ashes from Mt.Sakurajima were monthly collected at 14 locations in Kagoshima city and at 7 locations in Sakurajima from April 1, 1982 through March 31, 1983. The Samples collected were filtered, the residues were dried and weighed, and the filtrates were analyzed for pH, SO_4^<2->, Cl^- and water-soluble matter. The amounts of sulfur oxides absorbed on PbO_2-candles at 19 locations for a month were also determined. The highest volume of volcanic ashes, 16,478 ton/km^<2> ･ month, was recorded at Kokuminshukusha-Sakurajimaso in August. This value was the highest in those recorded during the last 4 years. The highest amount of sulfur oxides absorbed on the PbO_2-candle, 1.81mg/ 100cm^2 ･ day, was determined at Sakurajima-Hospital in July. |
