| 内容記述 | Loran measurements of 2H3, 2H4 were made at the southeastern waters of Kyûshû by a couple of Loran receivers. Some Loran errors were found out in comparison with precise ship's position. According to these results, the quantity of error is inclined to reduce in proportion to the increase in the distance from the land, while the sense of it seems to be of constant nature. The author postulates that the cause of the former is due to the influence of mountain range of 700 meters in height which lies closely along the sea coast. The latter fact might be due to the propagation of the slave Loran electric wave over the sea surface. | |||||
